Kelly Korn

Senior Pilates Instructor / Owner

Movement has been a big part of Kelly’s life: she’s a trained classical and musical theatre singer, dances jazz, ballet, and swing (specifically Lindy Hop). She’s taught kids how to sing and people of all ages how to dance.

While managing an NYC Pilates studio, Kelly decided to be come a teacher. She began in 2012 after training with classical masters Lori Coleman Brown, Lauren Stephen, and others. She continues to train with Cary Regan and Jennifer DeLuca.

Kelly loves Pilates for so many reasons. With it, she’s worked through numerous dance injuries and body alignment issues, as well as her struggle with depression. It gives her focus. It makes her feel connected to her body. She feels honored to have the opportunity to pass this to others, and to be taught and challenged by her students every day. She has helped people work through hip replacements, disc herniation, pre- and post-natal, severe anxiety, MS, scoliosis, and many other challenges.

She loves the discipline and structure of the classical method, but is in constant awe of how flexible it is. Kelly will focus on your goals and extract what you need out of the method.
