Kelly Korn
Senior Pilates Instructor / Owner
Movement has been a big part of Kelly’s life: she’s a trained classical and musical theatre singer, dances jazz, ballet, and swing (specifically Lindy Hop). She’s taught kids how to sing and people of all ages how to dance.
While managing an NYC Pilates studio, Kelly decided to be come a teacher. She began in 2012 after training with classical masters Lori Coleman Brown, Lauren Stephen, and others. She continues to train with Cary Regan and Jennifer DeLuca.
Kelly loves Pilates for so many reasons. With it, she’s worked through numerous dance injuries and body alignment issues, as well as her struggle with depression. It gives her focus. It makes her feel connected to her body. She feels honored to have the opportunity to pass this to others, and to be taught and challenged by her students every day. She has helped people work through hip replacements, disc herniation, pre- and post-natal, severe anxiety, MS, scoliosis, and many other challenges.
She loves the discipline and structure of the classical method, but is in constant awe of how flexible it is. Kelly will focus on your goals and extract what you need out of the method.

Meg Young
Pro Pilates Instructor
Meg is a certified Romana’s Pilates Instructor, with over 900 hours of comprehensive training and practice through Pilates of Dunwoody certification center in Atlanta, GA. She studied under the direction and mentorship of Senior Instructor Holly Pruell (Level III), Master Instructor Rhonda Celenza (Level II), and Grand Master Instructor Juanita Lopez (Level I).
A transplant from Atlanta, Meg has lived all over the east coast as well as international waters while she worked as a Featured Vocalist and Assistant Cruise Director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She has performed and taught in the entertainment industry since graduating from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. In 2015 after an ACL tear from dancing and subsequent surgery sidelined her for over a year, she stumbled (quite literally) upon Romana’s Pilates. She fell in love with the practice instantly and the rest is history!
Pilates helped Meg get back to doing the things she loves with more strength, mindfulness, and mobility than any other mode of fitness. Meg brings her theatre arts background and love for the authentic classical method to her teaching, combining conscientious technique and joy through movement.

Camilo Gomez
Pro Pilates Instructor
Camilo is a former professional dancer with a BA degree in dance from Laroche University. He studied subjects which included training in movement anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology.
Camilo found Pilates through summer intensive classes while at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York in 2005. He began training with teacher trainer Victoria Torrie-Capan at Pilates on 66. Camilo furthered his Pilates training apprenticing at True Pilates New York under Sari Mejia Santo under the supervision of Cynthia Shipley, Jerome Weinberg and Nancy-Jean McNamara, and was certified through Romana’s Pilates.
Camilo takes great pride in helping his clients achieve their unique goals. He works with clients to help address individual needs by developing a plan that improves their overall health. Utilizing the various Pilates apparatus in the studio, he is able to create skills that are applicable to everyday life.

Christie Farrell
Pro Pilates Instructor
Christie is a multi-hyphenate who loves to help people feel their best in their body. As an actor, Christie has toured the US and Canada and worked regionally in the DC metro area. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and discovered Pilates in her time at conservatory.
Christie holds a 450 Comprehensive Certification and continues to learn and expand her Pilates and functional movement knowledge. Pilates has helped Christie feel connected to her body, her nervous system, and her community.
She hopes that everyone can experience how beneficial Pilates can be for not just exercise and movement, but for your longevity.

Harper LaBrozzi
Pro Pilates Instructor
Harper is an actress and dancer originally from Pennsylvania. She has a BFA in Acting and Dance from Adelphi University and ever the Shakespeare nerd, she holds a diploma in Classical Acting from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Harper discovered Pilates through her dance training and was a student for years before she started her journey to become a classical instructor with Body Precision in Pennsylvania. While there, she had the privilege to be mentored by wonderful teachers who have trained at The Pilates Center Boulder.
Harper loves the challenge of Pilates, all the ways you can progress, and how it's a great practice for the mind and body. She loves introducing clients to the benefits of Classical Pilates (bonus if she can make you laugh) and watching them get more confident every session.
Harper believes Pilates is for everybody. Her favorite exercise is Swan on the Barrel and when not teaching, she's probably watching a movie she's seen a million times.

Nastasia Corey
Pro Pilates Instructor

Nastasia’s journey with Pilates, health, and movement began at a young age. She grew up in the mountains of Switzerland and holds BS and MS degrees in Food Science and Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), a globally renowned university consistently ranked in the world's top ten. During her studies, Nastasia developed a passion for teaching acrobatics and soon became an assistant teacher in aerial arts. With her move to New York, Nastasia decided to immerse herself in the world of movement and became a certified teacher in classical and contemporary Pilates as well as aerial arts.
Her academic education informs her scientific approach to fitness. Dedicated to helping clients build strength, move pain-free, and discover their body's full potential, Nastasia blends her deep understanding of health with Pilates training, aerial arts, and a past as a competitive swimmer to offer a holistic fitness experience.

Alexandra Brewster

Alex is a dancer from South Dakota. After completing her BFA in modern dance and BA in public relations, she moved to New York to attend the Martha Graham School. While there she discovered her love of Pilates. Alex is a comprehensively trained teacher from Power Pilates.
Alex wants every client to feel better leaving than when they came in. Being a classically trained teacher, Alex uses the method to improve a client’s strength, stretch, stamina, and stability. Her workouts are fun, flowing, and challenging, and will almost always include a balance challenge! She focuses on her student’s goals and will gently push the client to the next level. She loves to flow a class and add a little humor!

Luna Kim

Luna is a PMA - NCPT certified Pilates instructor, aerialist, and pole dancer who is originally from Korea. She is Comprehensively certified by Power Pilates and Balanced Body.
Shortly after committing to Pilates, she noticed changes in her own body. Her posture was improving, she felt pain relief from old injuries, and she performed better in sports. She was then determined to spread Pilates widely so that people could improve their bodies the way she had experienced herself.
Luna has an extensive background in fitness and uses her knowledge to create a fun and inclusive environment in the studio. She loves helping clients discover the benefits of Pilates, including building strength, creating full body alignment, managing pain and injury, and improving mental well-being.

Michelle Berry
Pro Pilates Instructor
Michelle is a Los Angeles native who moved to New York to study creative writing at The New School. She discovered Pilates after volunteering to be a practice body for a friend doing teacher training. She fell in love with classical Pilates and the impact it had on her body and chronic pain.
After practicing Pilates for nearly a decade, she decided to become certified as a Pilates instructor herself, obtaining her 600 hour certification from Real Pilates.
Michelle works with a wide variety of clients, but is particularly passionate about teaching those with chronic pain and helping to find healing through movement.

Sarah Awad
Pro Pilates Instructor
Sarah is a maker, a mover, and a New Yorker through and through. Her love of Pilates began when she was young, doing VHS tapes of mat classes with her mom. Since then she has cultivated her passion for her personal practice into teaching, completing her 600 Hour Comprehensive Immersion at Core Pilates NYC.
With her 2 degrees in art and design from New York University, she loves to infuse a creative and playful perspective on the classical exercises that is both Pilates principle-focused and fun.
Sarah believes in the sheer awesomeness that Pilates can bring to everyone! When she's not experimenting on the Wunda Chair, catch her 3D printing armor for her next Comic Con costume!

Alisa Ohri
Pro Pilates Instructor
In 2007 Alisa and her husband moved to Jersey City. She was on the hunt for a Pilates studio to call home. That is when she found the Pilates Haus, a classical Pilates Teacher Training Center.
Her first class at the Pilates Haus was a Mat class taught by none other than Brett Howard himself! (Director of Education for the USPA and second generation/Master Teacher certified by Joseph Pilates’ protégé Romana Kryzanowska.) Alisa realized quickly that Pilates wasn’t just a workout, it was a way of life!
As a full time Singer/Songwriter, Alisa found Pilates to be wonderfully beneficial for her craft. She immediately noticed the connection between core strength and improved breath while performing. After having training as a client at the Pilates Haus for over ten years, Alisa decided to deepen her practice and become a Certified Pilates Instructor in 2017. Alisa also has a dual BA in English and Economics from The University of California, Berkeley.

Niki Cheeves
Senior Pilates Instructor
Denise Nicole “Niki” trained and completed her certification at Romana’s Pilates headquarters, which was based in Drago‘s New York City studio, in 2006. She has trained Pilates apprentices, professional athletes, advanced practitioners, and ballerinas at the Dance Theater of Harlem, in addition to beginners and children. She has worked extensively with severely injured clients, many with decades-long, chronic pain from neck, back, or knee issues, who have benefited from the efficacy of Pilates for their physical therapy/rehabilitation.
Prior to teaching Pilates, Niki studied and taught yoga. She is also certified as a Perinatal Doula and a Lactation Counselor.
Niki’s 20+ years of experience teaching yoga and Pilates have been effective practices to implement with pre and post natal women, especially in strengthening the pelvic floor, increasing core strength, and supporting mental health, including those with postpartum depression (PPD) and PTSD.

Lynda Lippin
Master Pilates Instructor
Pilates has helped Lynda navigate endometriosis, surgeries, car and boat accidents, and arthritis. She understands what it's like to manage chronic pain, because she does it for herself, staying pain-free and very functional with Pilates.
For 35 years, Lynda’s clients (including Donna Karan, Laurie Anderson, and Joe Walsh) have trusted her to help them get stronger and function better, with less pain. Former Financial Times travel editor Rahul Jacob says that Lynda is the best Pilates teacher and personal trainer he’s ever worked with. Lynda was a Master Teacher at Real Pilates for a decade, spent a few years at A-list Parrot Cay by COMO resort, and owned award-winning studios on Philadelphia's Main Line. She helps all of her clients feel and function better, and specializes in chronic back, neck, joint pain; osteoporosis; and diastasis recti.
Lynda lives in lower Manhattan with her husband of 30 years and their senior rescue dog, Juniper Peanut.

Evy Barnett

Evy is from New Jersey and has been a Brooklyn resident for 8 years. She studied Graphic Design at Pratt Institute and has expertise in design, marketing, and communications. Evy has a passion for community, fitness, and mindfulness.
As a long distance runner, she has found that Pilates supports her marathon training through building strength and mobility. Incorporating movement into her routine helps Evy stay present and release stress, which is why she is excited to be on the Bombshell team.
